Highlights are sourced from official league and team YouTube channels — the same videos you'd find by searching YouTube manually, uploaded by the NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB, and other rights holders. Catchup Gametapes embeds these videos directly; no content is hosted or downloaded by the app.
Yes. Tap the settings icon in the top bar and select 'My Teams' to choose the teams you care about. Once set, your teams get a dedicated 'My Teams' section at the top of the feed every morning. You can also hide entire leagues you don't follow from the settings menu.
The News tab aggregates headlines from across the major sports leagues and presents them with a short editorial blurb for each story — explaining why the news matters to a fan who's planning to watch the game later. Scores and completed game recaps are pulled from ESPN and typically available by early morning following a night of games. Live game data updates in real time for games in progress, though scores remain hidden behind the spoiler shield even for live games.
